Rent Extremely High In Bay Area
The rent is higher than anywhere else in the U.S. right now in Bay Area California. This includes areas surrounding San Francisco.
Why is this happening? Why is rent more than in Manhattan in the Bay Area?
When wealth is concentrated in certain zip codes it attracts others to come and try to live the dream and acquire the same wealth.
The same thing happened in Manhattan, the same thing happened in Hollywood (t0 a smaller degree) and the same thing is happening now in San Francisco.
Where there is wealth, others will be attracted and want to come out and try to get a piece of the pie. That’s just how people rationalize and think.
