Raspberry Pi Based Bitcoin Mining
Dave Conroy has released the plans for an ingenious system of personal Bitcoin mining.
Bitcoins are a form of online currency thats been taking the internet by storm. They are going up in value and have been worth in the high $1xx range per Bitcoin as of late.
The system uses the Pi as a main processor and a 330MH/s ASIC. In total he spent $127 on his kit and, as far as we can tell, the power outlay will be negligible.
Check out the plans below and if you are interest in mining Bitcoins, this is probably one of the cheapest and most effective ways to get started relatively quickly. You don’t need to be an Engineer to put it together either.
