Optimizely Boosted Sim City Pre Order Revenue
Startup company Optimizely has released a case study today on how a high-profile game launch was boosted using their A/B split testing tools.
Recently raising over $28 million in Series A funding talks about how they boosted revenues for Electronic Arts SimCity preorders.
EA had used different mechanisms in the past to boost their preorder but nothing as sophisticated as startup Optimizely’s software.
They turned to Optimizely to test different ways of presenting the preorder page. They tested everything from placement, colors, and actual display of the promotional offer.
One variation of the pre-order page in particular drove over 40% more preorders than any other variation, thanks to Optimizely.
