Facebook has designed a new way to help you filter your news feed by allowing you to “unfollow” users.
“Unfriending” someone on Facebook is a pretty big insult these days but Facebook has now come up with a way for you to “unfollow” posts by a user saving you from unfriending them.
Say a friend is annoying you with constant baby photos, or selfies, well now Facebook will allow you to remove them from your feed with no drama.
Very similar to Facebook’s “hide all” button, the new “unfollow” button will appear by the “like” button and will allow users to have more control over what comes up on their news feed.
A Facebook spokesperson said, “The goal of this change is to help people curate their News Feed and see more of the content that they care about.”
