Zynga drops online gambling plans in U.S.

The company, Zynga, best known for it’s online social game FarmVille had planned to launch a massive online gambling business.

Since the announcement of the Nevada gambling application on Thursday, the shares are up more than 50% on the stock market.

As part of an effort to stabilize finances the company also recently announced that it would lay off 18% of it’s workers to stabilize finances.

However, the company has now been rumored to have dropped their plans for gambling in the U.S. citing financial issues.
