The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which is being held next week is expected to reveal some highly anticipated information about the new iOS 8 update and the iPhone 6.

CEO of Apple, Tim Cook is set to take the stage at the conference and rumors have been circling that that he will talk about iWatch, iPhones and even Apple’s smart home plans.

While many are excited to hear about Apple’s upcoming products, some are skeptical over whether or not the company will reveal anything substantial.

At previous WWDC’s Apple has not unveiled gadgets and many feel that this year will be no different.

“It’s been proven time and time again that trying to guess about what Apple’s going to throw out there is usually a fool’s errand,” stated Scott Thompson, an analyst.

One topic that is most likely to be discussed however is the $3 billion dollar deal that Apple made with Beats by Dre.

The deal was finally closed earlier this week and it seems that the tech giant may reveal what their plans are for the merger.
